Snack Me Up
If anyone wants to split a Junior's Cheesecake... I’m listening.
I buy a lot gifts for other people (and….myself) from Etsy and their independent sellers, and I buy my books supporting local bookstores on Bookshop.org.
But what does a person need besides bespoke gifts and independent bookstores? LOCAL FOOD.
Hello Goldbelly. I have no idea their actual marketing positioning, but to me they are like the Etsy of food. Basically they are a marketplace for small, local food businesses to ship not their whole menu, but just their most iconic dishes, nationwide. Places like Mike’s Pastry in Boston, Ina Garten’s Barefoot Contessa, or Pat’s in Philly are all on the marketplace.
It would be great to order something for a homesick friend, to celebrate an anniversary, or to just treat yourself. (Treat House yourself?) For me, I grew up in Boston but now live in Florida, and I love corned beef for St. Patrick’s Day (it’s an acquired taste). I think I will be ordering some from up North before the 17th.
Anyways, now I’m going to curl up with my current read, a Salted Butter sweatshirt, and dream of pizza from John’s.
