Restaurants want people to download their restaurant-specific app as having their app on your phone gives them direct access to you for marketing purposes. To encourage app downloads, they often offer special promotions only available in-app. So if there is a restaurant you go to frequently, take 30 seconds and download their app; you will probably start getting promotions and special deals almost instantly.

Of the ones I’ve tried, the two best restaurant apps I have used in terms of money-saving deals are the Starbucks app and the McDonald’s app.

Or if downloading an app isn’t your speed, add this list to a calendar invite on the first day of your birthday month. It’s a master list of 2025 birthday deals companies offer - some are only good on your birthday, but some are good for the whole month.
