Facebook OG time.

If you track down your Facebook password and log in today, you might feel déjà vu: if you live in the U.S. or Canada, there is a new Friends tab now live in your Facebook account that is very similar to what Facebook had at its very start.

Per a Facebook Reel that Mark Zuckerberg shared yesterday afternoon,

“The new Friends tab is a throwback to OG Facebook when you only saw friends' status updates. More OG Facebook coming soon.”

I logged into my Facebook account this morning to try the new Friends tab out (if you are having trouble finding it, instructions here) and you know what? I liked it a lot. Literally - if we are friends on Facebook, I probably liked your post today. For the first time in forever, I felt like I could see my actual friends’ posts, not just random news stories and ads or whatnot.

Now I wonder what other OG Facebook features are coming back next? I could low-key get in the mood to spend 3 dollars to buy a few frenemies some virtual gifts….
