Cute Little Habits

If you need a pick-me-up, I loved reading some of the 60,000+ (!) comments on this TikTok about “cute little habits” people do to brighten up their days and be more whimsical. (You don’t need to log into TikTok to see it and read the comments).

My own recent foray into whimsy was two years ago when I bought Christmas sheets in April and declared we would only be using holiday-themed sheets on all our beds year round to “be a fun family.”

I think we could have pulled off the Santa bed linens year-round if the rest of the house was perfectly clean and on-season, making the Christmas sheets looked like an intentional choice. But the rest of my house is always in a bit of a state, so reindeer in August was giving “when is the last time they washed their sheets.”
